Silk Road Asian Cuisine offers Authentic Asian Cusines such as Chinese, Thai & Malaysian cuisines.
The Malaysian Curry Chicken & Wok Glazed Ginger Shrimp are both delicious!

We've all done this:  You go to a new place and you try something that you've never had before and you just sit there and go WOW!  Silk Road's Three Cup Chicken did that for me.  Let me tell you, it's really good and you might want to check out this for yourself.  It's a simple dish with very lightly breaded chunks of white chicken meat fried to a crispy goodness.  It's then served tableside in a sizzling pot with lots of garlic, basil and soy sauce.  The aromas are amazing and the flavors are intriguing.  It's a generous sized portion and it's absolutely delicious.

You'll also want to get some of their Hot and Sour Soup which is rich and flavorful and their Shrimp Egg Rolls which actually have a fair amount of shrimp in them.

The service was fast and friendly.  No complaints here.  Also, the guy that waited on me made my day when he brought me a complimentary container of green tea after I told him how much I had enjoyed my pot of tea.

I'm really glad I read Mark K.'s review, it piqued my interest and I got to try this Taiwanese dish for myself.  Highly recommended.

After reading the other reviews. I'm not sure whether my taste buds are off or if went on a bad day. So I will have to go back and check it out again. Although I always feel that places should out their best foot forward at all times. With this being said.

Food: When I came to this location. I ordered the chicken and broccoli dish. That's one of those dishes I get when I don't want to take a huge risk on my first time at a new spot for I feel that no one can really mess that up. Well I will say that the flavor was a bit off with this dish. The initial taste of it was alright. After you finished infestation though. There was an interesting flavor that soon developed. To the point that it left an interesting after taste in my mouth. The chicken was also very chewy. I really detest chewy chicken.

Service: The server was very slow on the day that I took the family. It took a while for them to take our order or even get a glass of water. Shoot the expectation of a refill or the acknowledgement of possibly needing one. Was not even a thought. Just sitting there all parched at the such.

Place: The facilities were clean from the bathroom to the front of the establishment. So that is always a great thing.

Great lunch specials.  I have picked up the General Tso's lunch with fried rice and egg roll twice now.  Great portion size for a quick lunch on the go, but more importantly one of the better General Tso's I've had...crispy and not all soggy.

I stopped in at the Silk Road over my lunch break.  The restaurant is clean, new, and had plenty of open tables over lunch break

I had the hot sour soup, a shrimp egg roll, and the Hunan Beef lunch special.

The soup was a disappointment.  It was very thick and nearly jelly like....more than what you already expect.

The shrimp egg roll was great.  It was large and stuffed with veggies and loads of shrimp.

The Hunan beef was solid.    Somehow they made a Chinese meal that didn't go overboard on sauce or salt!  Not sure how they did that but .  They also used quite a bit of jicama.  I'm not used to eating jicama but it tasted pretty neutral with a crunchiness similar to a water chestnut.....plus it's super healthy!
